"One last time before Easter I used the still acceptable snow conditions in Allgäu for this winter and drove with my son to the Bolsterlanger ski resort for one day. Magnificent sunshine – on the one hand, skiing is definitely more fun in good visibility than in fog and snowfall or rain, on the other hand the snow was very quickly very soft. But back to the real hornhouse. The Ski Resort Bolsterlanger offers some Alps or Cottages to return, we finally decided to visit this mountain inn, which stands on an exponed mountain jump at an altitude of 1,400 m and can be seen from the gondola. When we entered the spacious terrace, what we had expected was a great view of the surrounding mountains like Nebelhorn and Grünten. Not only did we enjoy this view, so the beer benches were very well occupied. We found a place for two. Drinks and menus were placed on the tables. There are simple dishes such as warm liver cheese, cut carvings, goulash soup or... After a short card study, my son chose the acidic lenses with hints and stringworst, while I remained hanging on the sausage salad. There is also a special for the junior while I liked a yeast. I could try something. My impression: I had already eaten better lenses. The right taste has missed much too fad. There must be more adult bacon with pure, more onions, more vinegar, actually of everything that would have made the taste purer. In my sausage salad, on the other hand, I could not complain, here the wort voted. However, the included bread was quite modest, in size it should have been a second. My goddess always said in such cases: In need the farmer eats sausage without bread! Conclusion: simple dishes, how to expect from a mountain inn in the ski resort. However, quality is still air. Other cottages nearby make this better. However, prices are in the upper part of this area. In bad weather, the Berggasthof also offers a dining room inside. However, this gives a very economical or expedient impression. Partly also cheap, like the plastic-coated wooden tables. It's a shame you could do more."
