Adarra - Réservation de table

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. Restaurant Adarra is uniquely delicious, fun, and one of my favorite dining experiences in Richmond. Balanced cocktails, low intervention crisp and funky wines. Tangy salmorejo with marinated shrimp and crusty bread was a perfect starter for a hot summer day, followed by rich lamb stew enhanced with fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and the classic comforting tuna conserva, each excellent. great little spot I would go back. the food was delicious, but not excessively inventive or insanely amazing. the service was pretty good, my drink and wein were nice. for me the cave is that overall it is a very small space and the tables are fairly packed in there, so they will be arched with them.

Knowledgeable and skilled house. If you are gourmands, support this business. It’s a well executed fine dining authentic Basque concept. Yes, Basque… so drink sherry and cava and eat some octopus cause it’s fabulous. Tip: Bring a case of beer for the kitchen as a gift cause they work hard! Réservez une table maintenant

Great menu and great wine selection to accompany the meal. Service was just right with upfront lots of info and ability to ask questions, then left alone to just enjoy ourselves and eat and drink. Would definitely return.

eating was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice date for two. the courts seemed simple, but very tasteful and the waiting staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. highly recommended.
