We had really high hopes for this place but unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. The servers were unfriendly and unprofessional. There was no welcome when we arrived, to the point where we were awkwardly hovering around, not sure whether to seat ourselves or not, with the staff just ignoring us. Another group of guests let one of the staff members know that their table needed to be cleared and instead of helping, the staff member said they'd tell someone else to clear it and proceeded to lean on the bar, on their phone. The food was okay, definitely not the worst and the wait wasn't too bad considering we were there at a busy time. The decor is great and the place has so much po...

The café has relocated to the former premises of The Bell in Frogmore. The public bar area has been transformed into a 1940s home complete with an air-raid shelter, lounge, kitchen, and plenty of wartime memorabilia. Beyond a couple of doors, there is a recreated railway station, waiting room, homemade carriage, and a village hall. There are numerous photos on Facebook showcasing the charming décor. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The café opened late, lacked a friendly welcome, and all areas were quite chilly and not very clean. Additionally, there was a long wait for food, an abundance of cheap trinkets, and leaks in the temporary plastic roof. It's a shame.

We treated ourselves during half term. We always visit this cafe during school holidays, but this was our first time visiting since they moved. This unique cafe did not disappoint. There are various rooms and cozy corners to enjoy the delicious and reasonably priced food. You can dine in an Anderson shelter, the Royal tea rooms, or even a 1940s kitchen. The place is beautifully decorated to reflect the war era, and it respectfully commemorates the lives of those who served. It's wonderful to see that the Air Raid Shelter has expanded. We are excited for our next visit, perhaps for some Christmas shopping and to relax in a new room while enjoying tea and cake.

What a fabulous place this is, it was my first time visiting and was met with a very warm welcome. Chatted to the owners who are so passionate about this wonderful cafe. I have to say it was a delicious coffee in fact the best coffee I have had in a long time. Such an interesting place to sit and have your coffee. Rooms all set out as actual historical rooms and reminded me of my grandparents houses . The cakes on display looked amazing, so will definitely go back . Well worth a visit.
