We have dined at this restaurant before and appreciated the BYOW policy. The food has been good in the past, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations on this particular night. Despite having reservations and being seated near the window, the service was lacking. The restaurant was busy, and although we placed our order promptly, other couples around us who arrived after us had already finished their meals before ours arrived. After multiple apologies from our server for the delay, we decided to leave, but our food was finally brought out as we were about to walk out. Everybody at our table agreed that: The new menu doesn’t have a ‘’table d’hôte’’ has it use to. They didn’t have all the selections available on the menu. It took more than 45 minutes to get our main meals served. They told us because only...2 persons where working the kitchen. The food arrived lukewarm. The food in the plates was served without any creative presentation. The portion of vegetables, mashed potatoes or rice, and the extra order of veggies (3 little half slice of zucchinis) was small.

It is my third visit to this restaurant. The service is perfect and very friendly, nice litle terrasse, plesant ambiance . Unfortunately the food is ordinary. I had the Duck a l orange which was over cooked, fries which felt that where reheated and my...asperges where also reaheated . Sad, but not as good as it was before. Maybe we where unlucky ...

alex restaurant is normally closed for lunch, but we wanted to celebrate my husband birthday with family and friends. so alex has opened specifically for us. the service and eating were excellent, and the hospitality warm and very welcoming. if they have a family celebration, I recommend this restaurant.

I had a bad time eating needs to serve forever! and some dishes lack taste. the restaurant had not even so many customers in the dining room and I understand why now. but the decoration was still good.
