"After our hike from the Concordia Tower along the Lahnhöhenwanderweg we returned via the Bad Ems to the Bismarcks restaurant directly on the same tower. This was built in honor of the 1st German Chancellor Prince Otto von Bismarck and inaugurated in the spring of 1901. The Kurwaldbahn, which connects the city with the large spa areas, clinics and rehabilitation facilities above Bad Ems, also ends/starts. The Bismarcks is a beautiful excursion to the mountains, high above the state bath Bad Ems, has a large sun terrace, from where you have a fantastic view of Bad Ems, the Lahntal and the surrounding mountains.
