Bob Evans' are generally busy because they offer consistent reliable homestyle cooking. My family's visit Sunday was mo exception. We waited 20 minutes for a table of 4 which I did not think seemed unreasonable. One problem however is they do not employ a fulltime host/hostess on their busiest day, so people are constantly milling about the lobby waiting to be checked in..many people had left waiting to be called, and others who had arrived earlier were still waiting when we were seated...a highly inefficient procedure...Breakfast for all was ...just ok. My wife's scrambled eggs were partially overcooked AND undercooked as well. Her pancakes were clearly undercooked. Sausage patties, a fixtu...
I have got to say good service is hard to find now of days however the server Amanda was so awesome! She deserves a raise, she was so nice and kept checking up on us, and was so good at her job! Had conversations with people and she knew some peoples orders before they even say it and what that says to me is she likes her job and is just a 10/10!
I ordered the Premium Holiday meal for 10. Baring the delay of 25 min during pickup for a scheduled time, the food was fabulous. Turkey was moist and flavorful. Sides were excellent. Pies and pumpkin bread stood out. I would definitely do this again. So easy to pickup box. Heat up and enjoy time with family.
