"We had a late supper at Bonhamia. The food was prepared excellently. The presentation was good and our waiter was nice . The restaurant was clean and we enjoyed outside dining. I had the ribs and the menu said they were coated in salsa. I expected a tomato sauce of some sort. It was a language interpretation mistake. Salsa means sauce so I got BBQ ribs. Not a problem I enjoyed them."

Extremely disappointed. At the end of our meal we were given the bill. Not thinking twice about looking at the bill my partner paid on card. I caught a glimpse of it and thought that the bill was way more expensive then what we had ordered. On reviewing the bill I noticed that the 6 had been manually changed with a pen to an 8 (service charge was already included in the bill). When we confronted the waiter obviously knew he'd been caught out, would not return the manipulated check and rushed to get the excess money owed from the till.We attempted to get the original check that had been manipulated, but of course could only get a new copy. We informed the manager who agreed it was not right,...

This restaurant is well located in Poblado. it has a large outdoor seating area. I ordered the carpaccio of octopus which was fresh and very well presented. The flavor was outstanding. Along with 2 beers, I also ordered the morcillitas, which are little blood sausages served warm with dipping sauce. I comes with a side of really good French fried potatoes. In all, there was too much food for me to finish it all. I'm a big eater so that is saying a lot. Service was great. When I return to Medellin I will return, this time with a friend to help me eat the generous portions of food that they serve here. My bill came to less than $25.00 including tip. Worth every penny.

We enjoyed a meat and cheese platter with a bottle of red however had major bill shock when it arrived. The restaurant charges for the bottle of wine plus 35000pesos opening charge. The waiter did NOT make this clear to us and made it sound like the bottle was only 35000 if drinking in the restaurant. We thought this sounded odd so asked multiple times but every time he told us it was just 35000. So when we got the bill and it was 35000 plus 85000 for the wine we were shocked. The waiter didn't seem to care. Overall it was disappointing.

After some months of traveling through South America, this place was such a treat. We ordered a big plate of all different kinds of meat and cheese. Most of it you cannot easily get around here. I was in food heaven. Great wines to drink with it too. And the bread is so tasty! The only thing I missed was some really aged salty Dutch cheese (I miss that so much when I'm away from home).Servers are super friendly and very hospitable. Location is perfect, great view on the street.
