Whenever I am in Saskatoon, I always make my way to the Boomtown Cafe at the Western Development Museum. The 1910 setting, complete with a pressed tin ceiling and period furnishings, adds to the experience of enjoying delicious cafe food. While the menu may not be extensive or fancy, any breakfast served there is wonderful. Be sure to try their cinnamon buns, they are a must-have. The sandwiches are always fresh and have a homemade feel that I love. The lunch specials are also great and very reasonably priced.

This restaurant is reminiscent of small town Saskatchewan. It has a tin roof ceiling and old fashion dining tables, chairs and booths. The food is ordered cafeteria style but can be delivered to your table. Have eaten here several times and the food is always good. Service is great too, except during the Festival of Trees. The girls were rushed off their feet!

After visiting the museum, we dined at the tidy cafeteria-style cafe with affordable prices. The soup was tasty, but the Saskatoon pie was absolutely incredible. We returned three additional times during our trip to Saskatoon just to indulge in that delectable pie. It was a nostalgic experience with delicious home-cooked meals.

If you want a hearty breakfast that doesn't hurt the pocketbook then this is your place! I like the breakfast special with 2 eggs, toast, sausage and hashbrowns. My kids get the kids pancake. Huge pancake with Saskatoon berries and whipped cream for $2.00! My husband thinks the omelette is one of the best he's ever seen. Réservez une table maintenant

We were in town for a family function and found this breakfast spot through Trip Advisor. The reviews did not disappoint. Our kids said the bacon and eggs breakfast was just like we make them at home, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely return next time we visit Saskatoon.

We did not realize this cafe was not part of the exhibit until we walked in! The food is average in price but the good is good and honest. People beside us had the ribs and it was a full rack! We just had soup and sandwich which was well priced and tasty

We have stopped in here a few times with our little one. Antique look gives that fun rustic feel. Food was pretty good and other then the cafeteria-type line, the food felt like a trip to grandma's :)

See my attraction review for Western Development Museum. The meals vary throughout the week and are prepared by knowledgeable staff who take pride in local cuisine. Réservez une table maintenant
