Brick's Smoked Meats

After looking around for a different type of restaurant in downtown Sarasota we looked at some reviews for Brick's Smoked meats. Menu looked good, pictures from previous guests seemed interesting so we gave it a try. Went in during happy hour, sat at the bar and were greeted by a very friendly bar tender and hostess. The bar tender had worked there for many years and helped us explain the menu and gave us some ideas. We ordered and the meal came out within 5 minutes. Meal was well displayed and very good. The only issue was the size of one of the portions. I ordered the brisket and I doubt there was more than 4oz of meat. As I said, quality was excelled but the amount was small.

had the burned end-con-tacos. they will not be disappointed. if they are a smokey old fashion, that seems the specificity. try the street mais and the shrimp app! almost tastes like cool ranch doritos coating. will be crowned, so reserve. they have live musicians and a great brunch

It's a good place to eat. A nice selection of things to choose from. I've honestly had better, but I would still come back here. Our server was very knowledgeable and good hearted. The drinks are very tasty. I recommend the Smoked Manhattan.

We were vacationing in Sarasota and wanted something different for dinner besides seafood. BBQ seemed to be a good alternative. We were very satisfied with Brick’s. The place was well appointed, clean and the food was excellent.

Best BBQ we've had in SWFL!!! Brisket was perfection as well as the turkey!! Oh and the Brussel Sprouts will melt in your mouth! We will definitely be back!!!
