Cades Cove Cellars

This was our fifth and final stop on the wine trail, and unfortunately it was the least welcoming compared to the previous locations we visited. The lady who conducted our tasting was unfriendly and did not provide any information about the wines we were trying. She simply poured the wine and that was it. In contrast to other wineries we had visited, she was not engaging and did not offer any suggestions or recommendations. It felt as though we were inconveniencing her. Additionally, she seemed more interested in finishing the tasting quickly rather than providing a positive experience for us.

I want to start by saying that I'm not really a wine drinker, but my wife does enjoy it occasionally, so we decided to stop by this restaurant. They offer a complimentary tasting of four different wines from their selection of about 15-20 options. We ended up purchasing three bottles because they were so delicious! I particularly recommend trying the Firefly wine, it was very tasty.

There are so many fantastic options to choose from, I especially enjoyed the wine tastings! My favorite is the Smokey Mountain Sunrise.

Delicious wine with clean tastes. Super friendly staff. Tucked away in a beautiful area surrounded by the Smokey Mountains.

Nice place to try some wine. They have to buy grapes but they have a cool facility to make wine and I liked all I tried!
