Our expectations were high since we saw several parties eating on the balcony before other nearby restaurants in the Plaza Mayor had any business. However, we were really disappointed with the service, some of the food, and even the ability to make the correct change for the check. First, they brought bread to our table and placed a roll down in front of each of us. We later discovered we were charged for the bread. Since we hadn't even had time to look at the menu and see bread is extra, that seemed improper. Next I ordered soup and my wife skipped the appetizer and ordered just a main course. They came together, which is okay, and were both good. However, after they cleared my bowl of soup...
The central square at Chinchon is surrounded by restaurants and with dinners out on the second floor balcony it looked very picturesque and was the busiest too. We therefore chose it above the others and were happy to be found a table out on the balcony although they are very cramped together. We had anchovies with avocado, tomato and olive oil and calamares a la romana to start. Both were ok but not exceptional and lamb with a mixed salad for the main course. The lamb was tasty and very tender. This was washed down with a bottle of the house red which was recommended by the waiter and was very good. I thought for what we had the price was a little expensive but I would compare this location...
It is a chinchon restaurant with classic balconies where the tables are located, from where you can see the main square of the village. It has two floors. When we arrived there was no room on the balcony and we occupied an inner table, but when it was free they told us to change our table, a complete detail. has a very varied menu in types of food and wines. the exquisite Iberians. the price is not cheap, but it is paid with fall. It is advisable to book on Sundays or in summer.

Servicio muy atento y amable. Reservamos mesa pronto por la mañana e hicieron todo lo posible por darnos mesa. Al final, muy bien, en el balcón que da a la plaza. Comida rica y abundante. Recomendado 100%.
Ambiente , decoración, entorno... envidiable. El servicio muy profesional , y encantador, aunque fueron MUY lentos en atendernos. Me pregunto si fue porque fuimos los únicos en pedir menú????
Lugar perfecto para comer con amigos familia o en pareja, el patio interior muy bonito para comer y salón muy cuidado y con todo tipo de detalles.
En un ambiente alegre, en un patio lleno de luz y verdor, hemos degustado cordero lechal: sus mollejas, una delicatessen y sus chuletillas.
