A small cozy place somewhere in this small village of San Miguel de Salinas. My first visit I had chipirones (fried small squid) , melon with ham. It was delicious! Then I went back to try their Menu Del Dia , I had salad, paella, , fish, , glass of red wine and dessert for 10.50 euro! Wow, portions were huge, food was just delicious! The owner was muy simpatico, Internet was fast! My favorite restaurant now in San Miguel!
We have been coming here since 2000 and it never disappoints whether you want a couple of beers, a few tapas or a main meal. It's a hidden gem that has not lost sight of its traditional Spanish roots despite some subtle developments. Our children are older now, so we often sneak down for a bottle of house red and order a takeaway pizza to take back an prize them away from the Internet. Works at every level
Outside seating, we visited mid week and our order came quickly. We had six tapas and chicken/chips for my dad, he’s not very adventurous. We had four beers and a jug of Sangria. Everything was hot and very tasty. Would definately return. Takeaway pizzas looked good and massive.
We love this restaurant. Very Spanish, excellent selection of tapas dishes and main courses also. Came here on fiesta night and had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend the dorada fish. Superb.
