spontaneously went with friends to this place for eating and drinking and it was not disappointed! happy hour was lit cuz they get $1 off tacos and the drinks were also cheap. d e l i c i o u s! we all know that it is very hard to find good Mexican food outside mexicos (and especially in nyc), but Chavela’s were able to give us a real Mexican experience. everything was on the spot! chips and salsa, enchiladas and churros at the end were absolutely fantastic. in any case recommend!

The drinks were cool. Food was pretty good. Will definitely return to try a few of the other drinks. I had the Pescadilla which was cool.
