Che! Craft Paella&fideua Space

Fantastic food. First and foremost. I had this delightful place all to myself on Sunday lunchtime and ordered up a seafood paella, rocket and watermellon salad and a litre of sangria. The hosts are just the kindest people you could meet. Time was taken to explain what paellas fideuas were available and that they would be cooked fresh. It only has 6 tables inside, but there are outaide spaces, too. Soon enough my salad arrived and was fresh and delicious. The sangria was perfect. Then, the masterpiece paella arrived. This is the most delicious personal paella in Jerez. The chef asks for your paella order the day before you arrive to shop for the freshest ingredients and the paella is prepared for you and ready when you are. The starters are chef's choice and like everything, made with care and skill. This time we had seafood paella and there was seafood in every bite not just rice. The rice was perfectly cooked not too hard or too soft and it was expertly seasoned, not too salty but not too bland. A small restaurant that one would walk by but this is a gem. Local produce cooked by locals with no pressure to come and eat. Recommended to us by our hotel staff and we were not disappointed. This would have the Masterchef judges raving. Such great flavours driven with simple ingredients. Generous hosts made the experience one of our best in Spain and Portugal. Take a detour to Jerez and get yourself there.

He comido un par de veces, recogiendo y llevándolo a casa y estaban riquísimos los pimientos rellenos y el arroz, ayer reservamos y comimos con ellos unos entrantes muy ricos y un arroz con carabineros y foie espectacular...repetiremos seguro.
