The people working at this location are always courteous and professional. Beyond those lovely souls, however, I can 't think of a single reason to eat at any DQ ever again. Over the last two years, I have stopped here on my way home several times. I 've also recently tried the other Athens locations in the same time, and in neighboring towns like Commerce, Banks Crossing, Elberton, Jefferson and Winder. Bottom Line: The quality of the food, and the processes and parameters for preparing and serving the food, seem to be uniformly disappointing. Stopped by around 9pm on a Friday night to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo with a large coke. The fries weren't all that great and almost taste like they were cooked in the same oil with chicken and other deep fried items. My burger was hot for the most part. It was overly packed with ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Tasted alright but I wouldn't say it was the best burger I had. Staff at the drive thru was extremely friendly and seemed happy to want to work there

Took a long time to get a chocolate dipped ice cream. Everyone else had received and eaten their blizzards.

Menu was reduced. Staff couldn't provide chocolate soft serve when requested.
