Just a 4 minute drive off of the freeway; only two minutes past Starbucks, and ooooooh so worth it! This place is such a gem. There's street parking both in front and behind the café. We stopped here on a road trip heading to Mount Lassen, by now that I've found this place, any time I'm northbound on 80 I'll be stopping here. I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg. The egg was poached to perfection! And the toast is no ordinary toast it's a thick slice with a sweet crust. There's ample avocado and I think they used a garlic salt, which complimented all of the flavors so perfectly. It didn't stop there either, because the service is great. I now have a new favorite coffee shop, this one! The service attitude is second to none. Very attentive. Our server was so kind. My vanilla late was on point, but the biggest surprise was the outstanding flavor of the breakfast sandwich. The fresh bun, real eggs with yoke was fresh, and the sausage was wow, delicious. I recommend you take the time to try this place out.

Best coffee shop atmosphere, employees, comfort, coffee, clientele ever. Only place I go when travel to Pinole from Chicago. Used to live here. Tell everyone about it! Réservez une table maintenant

the coffee is good but I waited so long, like 15 min for one drink when there was no rush and plenty of staff but only one person was actually making drinks

Skip the chain cafe and try the lovely local option. Three roasts of coffee light, med and dark. The light roast was super tasty!
