El Charro Mexican Dining

Last Saturday night, my wife and I accidentally ended up at El Charro. She had actually intended to go to El Jarro, but we ended up at the wrong Mexican restaurant on the same street. The restaurant was busy, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. The service was slow due to understaffing, and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The waiters were pleasant, but once our food was served, we didn't see them again. The food was mediocre, with a super burrito that had a strange sweet filling, bland refried beans and guacamole, and an enchilada that was mostly sauce. I stopped by the bar for a margarita and was blown away by the amazing Cadillac and skinny margaritas. The bartender was incredibly friendly, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink. The sampler plate included a taco, enchilada, and tostada with beans and rice, and the chips and salsa were excellent. Overall, highly recommended for a delicious meal and drinks.
