El Fenix Bakery remains one of my favorite local spots. The bakery is warm and inviting with limited but adequate seating, creating a cozy ambiance. The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring your order is prepared quickly. They offer traditional pastries like bread pudding, flan, rice pudding, and more, all excellently made. The pan con mantequilla (bread with butter) pairs perfectly with a café con leche. The location is quite busy, so parking out front can be challenging—you might need to use nearby side streets.
