Like JR from the book 'The Tender Bar ', I spent a good offer of my youth in a manhasset icon known as PUBLIC on Plandome Road... after more than 5 decades of life in Australia New Zealand (on and off! I'm back on U.S. soil and parked for the time in Port Washington. I was trying to rekindle a relationship with PUBLIC who reminded me of the proverb... You can never go home again! We were in the area looking for a place to eat. We were greeted at the door and were able to see the big table with the specials on them. Fortunately, it was meat night. Comfort Food was just what I was looking for. Good service, delicious food and I paired it with a guinness.

Great place! Had 8 guests for brunch. Food was excellent as always and excellent service too!! We will definitely go back!!

Good food served hot! friendly service but slow. Nice atmosphere. $130 for two with 4 drinks tip included.

Great seafood with chickens and sheepskin. There were cocktails. Friendly staff.
