Two friends and I were looking for a place for lunch in Arcos de la Frontera. The picturesque village was packed and parking was difficult so we ventured on the outskirts. All we saw at first were noisy bars until we found this restaurant. Their dining room is not open at lunch only the bar is with a limited menu. The very friendly waiter (he could have been the owner? offered us the lunch menu but he also told us that we could have one selection from the dinner menu (he was making it for some friends . If you go you must have the snails: they were perfectly cooked in a delicious garlicky sauce. The desserts were homemade too. I would recommend you have a cocktail one of the many establishments of this beautiful perched village (if you can find parking and head for Mariquilla Trifulca for your lunch or dinner ..... a lot cheaper and better too.

Out for a walk in the fringes of Arcos and called in for a coffee on a sunny terrace in January. What impressed was how spotlessly presented this quiet bar was; so called in for a tapas on our way back round. Friendly staff, good quality wine, crusty fresh bread and excellent snails. Checking this evening, no reviews, happy to change that. Good luck to this team.

Rabo de toro, carrillada y cabrillas son sus platos más solicitados junto a sus carnes, entre las que destacan los ibéricos y la carne de cerdo gallego alimentado con castañas.
