Grimaldi's Pizzeria

We went to Gramaldi for the first time. It was a Sunday night and the place bounced. We sat fast and our server was very attentive, explained their menu and pizza options. We chose a carafe of enchanting white wine for their large wine map. When he arrived, our server poured our first glass. We enjoyed a large salad that serves more than as an appetizer for our family. We ordered two pizzas, a white pizza with roasted red peppers and the other her signature The Don Pizza. The waiter who delivered our pizza served everyone the first slice. Now this is the pizza I dream of. I am incredibly happy to find a good pie that reminds me of east coast pizza. The brick oven adds so much flavor and texture that my mouth is watering as I type this. I had the garlic and olive oil sauce with cheese. The proportions were just right, the flavors were fresh and delicious. Then the whole thing was cooked to perfection in that brick oven. I also had a salad and the veggies were FRESH. My server was warm and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. AWESOME

That was one of the best pizzas we had in the area. We had the Margarita pizza and a Mediterranean salad. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. I love great pizza and that was definitely a great pizza.

This place is amazing!!! The best pizza I have ever had. The service and atmosphere is amazing!!! The pictures around the restaurant help you step back in time to old New York.
