Joey Brooklyn's Famous Pizza

I was on my way to go see a movie and I realized I needed something to eat before the show. I stopped in to this cute little hole in the wall restaurant and ordered a sandwich. They make calzones and they're probably most well known for their pizza... But I was in the mood for a sandwich. I asked the guy behind the counter what he recommended the Italian Grinder. Was the sandwich good... Yes. I do have one criticism: it wasn't a very hearty sandwich for the price. The thin layer of meat probably wouldn't have filled me up for a real meal (thankfully this was just a snack before the movies). Joey Bs is a stable of the downtown bar scene. They are open past the bars and clubs closing at 3a. The pizzas okay. It's good drunk pizza if that makes sense. If you are sober and waiting a good slice and going out of your way for it, prob not the place. But if you have had yourself a night and need something or are waiting on your Uber on 1st, this is amazing. Joey Bs holds a special place in my heart and was there for me throughout my 20s. That being said it's not really a place I frequent anymore but will grab a slice for nostalgia at $5 a pop if I'm in the neighborhood Appreciate you and thanks for the memories 4/5 recommend to a friend in their 20s

Saturday night in St Pete and it's so crowded everywhere and found this pizza place. There are a few tables outside, but otherwise it's just take out. We got pizza by the slice and it was quick, hot and yummy. The pepperoni was spicy and the cheese was tasty. Perfectly thin crust with the right amount of sauce. Just wish there was somewhere to sit and eat.

Went to the queensryche concert .. walked over to Joeys for a small 14 in pizza. and it was great. Fast service!! Thank you guys!!!
