Very sad. We have been going to this restaurant since it was built and it USED to be a great place to dine with excellent food, great service and atmosphere. It has been going the wrong way for a few years now. Our son wanted to go there tonight tocelebrate his 21st birthday. Wow what a disappointment. They have gotten cheap all the way down to the spoons. Our so calledchef was a joke, zero personality and told us he didn't have the time to get us what we ordered. When the manager finally wentand got the rice that we ordered he just mixed it with already cooked food and slapped it cold and tasteless on our plates. I would like to begin by praising the friendly front staff at this restaurant. The server was also very nice and my drink was tasty. The sushi and salad were delicious, but unfortunately the soup was quite bland. The most disappointing part of our experience was with the chef. He carelessly splashed sauces on the table when serving them in ramekins, showed no friendliness, barely seasoned the food, and overcooked most of the vegetables. His bad attitude greatly affected our enjoyment of the meal. The waitresses were great but the chef was disappointing. The food lacked flavor until I added the yum-yum sauce. I had to request sauce items from the chef as he didn't offer any. The floor was sticky and the ladies room stall locks were not all intact. The paper towel rolls only dispensed a small amount and the soap dispenser was empty. This was our first visit and we won't be coming back. Two stars are solely for the wait staff. Not sure why the veggies included potatoes, but it was unexpected.
