Kaoru - Réservation de table

we went there with friends on Saturday night. I must admit that it is long time since I have seen such unprofessional service. we have ordered some appetizers and sushi sets, had to wait for an hour until the sushi sets arrived (not all of us had appetizers, so we just waited until the rest of the food arrived). the main thing was that the waitress simply forgot her command! After we were all finished with our eating, I had to ask another waitress how long I had to wait for my missing salmon and avocado salat, they simply forgot because I had asked for minutes (besides that I only ordered seaweed salad and she was not aware of bringing the food at the first place that something was missing)....

Kaoru is a sushi restaurant, primarily. That requires two things, basically: fish and rice. Whilst the seafood offered was adequate I usually order an ika squid sushi to test its quality-, the rice was far from acceptable, in fact it tasted like left-over from the...previous day: hard and tasteless! Service and atmospere were very good, but due to the above, value for money was rather poor ...

The sushi and the philipino suchi guy. No thank you OK they are not Japanese but at least be nice. So when you go there and site at the bar use Google translate, you will be surprised what they say. I don't know who is...the owner of this place. But Check out. OK you want to make money but educate your staff we live in Anyway will not recommend your place for food and personal.

we're here four times. the first three times, it took minutes to get drinks (water. and over an hour to get food. first I thought it might be a free day; maybe there was a huge rash, or there was a mix in the kitchen, etc. I don't want to judge a restaurant on his bad day. but the times are a must. Kaoru never disappoints! I have been there about times now and the quality has always been amazing and the service always was prompt but subtle. If you order special sushi rolls or sashimi (basically anything that in not swimming on the little boats) you...can watch the sushi chefs prepare your food. Would always recommend to get seats at the bar. Reservation is essential.

I was or in time and in this time the hot kitchen was excellent! now they change everything. quality goes down and tasteless. looks like they are trying to save money on the personal. service terrible. Japanese waitress is very rude.

that was my visit here. Eating and drinking were good, the staff was mostly ok. the lunch menu that they offer helps to reduce the cost drastically, but the lunch bowl is a bit on the small side.

Excellent food! We had various starters, sushi and bento boxes and they were all fresh and delicious! I can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back! Réservez une table maintenant

Relaxing atmosphere in front of Mannheim Opera. Welcomed with a warm towel and a salad tapa. Service is very good as well as sushi. I wish more variations on the rolls.

A delicious food in a cozy place. I went with my friends and it was a very nice dinner. The staff is so nice and friendly. I will absolutely go back.
