Karara The Indian Takeout

I ordered 2 shahi paneer and 2 paranthas (gobi and paneer) from Karara as part of their lunch specials. Their shahi paneer was lacking paneer pieces (it was almost all curry) but it was still okay. However the paranthas were too salty and really not edible…. When I called back to complain, he asked me to bring back the paranthas and said that if we wanted less salt, we should have told him that when we placed the order and that this was their standard recipe… I told him that this was the first time I ordered so I wouldn’t have known and since I live in orleans, it was not feasible for me to come back today but I could come back tomorrow if they wanted to remake it. We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant! Four of us coworkers enjoyed the curry naan salad and rice, which was medium spicy and perfect! The wait for our food was shorter than what the chef had estimated. The naan was still piping hot when I brought it back to work.

This Indian restaurant in the west end of Ottawa is hands down the best. I tried it 4 weeks ago and have been coming back every week since. The quality of the dishes and naan breads is exceptional. The staff could use a little more cheer, but overall, it's fabulous.

We ordered Manchurian and Noodle.They taste sweet : thought being ordered as medium spicy. Also there were only 5 Manchurian balls. I would suggest to avoid this place.
