Katarina's Coffee Shop

Passing through Prescott, Ontario on a rainy day and found this great little coffee shop on King Street (the old Highway 2.) Very clean and a wonderful friendly atmosphere. And the food? The sandwiches are so fresh and tasty. But the kicker is the desert selection. A variety of homemade deserts are right up front to tempt you. I had a brie and sun dried panini, and for deset a fresh strawberry/blueberry tartellete with custard. It was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and not to filling. Delicious with a lingering coffee. And some wonderful conversation with fellow travellers who were biking from Montéal to Kingston. Katarina's certainly gets a nod of approval from this traveller.

We visited Fort Wellington in the rain and were looking for a local place to eat lunch. Katatrina's was highly rated on Trip Advisor, so we stopped in. The establishment is very small. There are tables and chairs. The restrooms were clean. The owner was very courteous and the young ladies working behind the counter were friendly and patient with us as we decided what to order. Our lunches were very good (salads and sandwiches). It was a nice respite from the rain!

Great little spot. Indoor and outdoor seating. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, deserts very good. Shared the triffle which was amazing. Close to a cute public park and beach. Oh yes the lemonade, was great!

George and Claudia are warm and friendly. Coffee, ice cream, sandwiches, soup, all good. Baked goods delectable. They even helped us translate an important document into Spanish.

Had a great sandwich and homemade lemonade and it was delicious! Topped it off with a great maple walnut ice cream cone. Easy parking, great location. Loved this place!
