We found this place via tripadvisor, as Amiens was a mid-point stop in a longer trip between Normandy and the Netherlands. Some impressions: the restaurant is in a gentrifying district of Amiens. When we were there, they also hadn 't changed the awning from the prior restaurant. So, we parked with some trepidation and verified the street address, walked in, and...everything from there was awesome. The proprietor speaks excellent English. He explained that the menu varies by day of the week. So, with 4 of us, we pretty much ordered every option on the menu. Almost everything was delicious. Nous avons visité ce restaurant car c'était le premier à Amiens sur TripAdvisor; cependant, cela ne correspondait pas du tout à nos attentes. Bien que le lieu soit si petit et peu attrayant, nous avons décidé de déjeuner dans ce restaurant car nous avons toujours fait confiance aux avis TripAdvisor. Mais les plats que nous avons commandés étaient littéralement immangeables! Le riz était si dur et fade, et le poisson était horrible car il était cuit avec les arêtes et la peau du poisson avec quelques légumes, donc nous n'avons pas pu finir nos assiettes! En fait, les plats réels ne ressemblent pas du tout à ceux sur les photos. Je suis vraiment surpris de voir comment ce restaurant est hautem...
Nous étions impatients d'essayer ce restaurant car nous n'avions jamais mangé de la cuisine sénégalaise auparavant. Malheureusement, très déçus. Le repas végétarien était accompagné de deux sortes de riz, du riz blanc ordinaire et du riz au poisson cuit dans un bouillon de poissons. Pour aggraver les choses, il y avait aussi un escargot dedans. Les légumes semblaient sortir directement d'une boîte de conserve. Le personnel s'est excusé pour l'escargot mais ne nous a pas accordé de réduction. Ils semblent clairement ne pas comprendre le végétarisme.
Went to this restaurant as it is supposed to be the best in Amiens acording to the Trip Advisor reviews. Very, very dissapointed in the meals that all four of us had. Nothing special at all , I had the lamb grill whlst other in my party had the chicken which came out of the kitchen with undercooked parts of meat. The surrondings reminded me of the Apprentice losers cafe and not at all comfortable. I would certainly not eat at this establishment again and wonder how it obtained the earlier reviews. Comment peut-on avoir une option végétarienne répertoriée au menu pour découvrir ensuite qu'elle est cuite dans un bouillon de poisson avec des escargots ajoutés? Ce n'est pas seulement mauvais, c'est complètement faux. Ne comprennent-ils pas ce que signifie végétarien? La nourriture non végétarienne avait l'air bonne mais je ne pourrais jamais manger ici de nouveau.
