Kumo Japanese Hamden

We love to go to Kumo! The sushi is reasonably priced and always delicious. Generous with the fish and toppings for a good price. The shrimp tempura entree is always hot and fresh, feeds two people and we sometimes get that and just a small roll or two. The miso soup and side salads are both totally fine. Their seaweed salad portions are a bit small and they put a cherry on top so we usually don’t get seaweed salad there any more. I also didn’t love the katsu because it was just one piece of breaded chicken over a large bed of plain white rice that was not that good, but I haven’t tried katsu again after trying Kumo’s so maybe that one’s on me and katsu just isn’t my thing. Went here once so that's why only 4 stars. The food I got was very good. My significant other got sushi and he really liked it. The location is not that good because the road has been under construction for a while so be aware of where you're supposed to park. It will be to the right of the restaurant. Did not try their Hibachi!

Gets 5 stars because it achieves same quality as other hibachi places in the area but for a slightly cheaper price. Phenomenal food all around, if your looking for some quality Japanese food look no where else especially if your on a budget!
