I love this refuge. It is the most remote one on the Tour des Dents du Midi. There are no showers, but cold water to rinse yourself. The guardians have changed since I was last here 10 years before my visit this year, and the food is now creative and interesting. We had north African soup and main course, both vegetarian for our dinner, as an example. The lunches we got for our picnics were large and came in a little souvenir cloth bag so sweet ! There is no phone signal here thank god. Feels like you have truly gotten away from it all when you arrive here. Just peaceful views, and the company of other people and maybe some marmots. A wonderful authentic cabin in a true corner of paradise. We spent one night there while doing our tour of the Dents du Midi in 2 days. The place is magnificent and the terrace is sunny until late, a real pleasure. Thanks to Fabienne and the whole team for the welcome and the meals, everything was really perfect (the bread for breakfast was just incredible)

There are those timeless places that we would never want to leave... Departing from Morzine, we spent 2 nights at the refuge to ski some pretty peaks nearby. Fabienne welcomed us with a big smile and cuisine worthy of a gastro! Thank you well done for your welcome and see you soon. We will come back, for sure!

It's not bad but after a long day of hiking you would've wanted to have Wi-Fi availability, meat dinner (we've had rice with vegetable curry) and a shower, while none of these were there. Yet still it is quite enjoyable to get a little remote from everything
