La Violetta Market And Kitchen

We have wanted to try La Violetta for months and were really disappointed. The servers were great, the ambience is ok but the food was well below average in our opinion. The menu is extensive and tries too hard to be impressive however the food didn't achieve on the menu's expectations. It is also rather expensive so not a value.

Great food! Do yourself a favour and try it! Awesome seafood as well as beef tartare. Was not a fan of crème brûlÃe foie gras and tripe, but really enjoyed everything else we ordered.

A truly onsite freshly prepared and cooked dinner. Watched the pasta maker creating ravioli that I just enjoyed. This is the place for authentic Italian dishes. Service was impeccable.

Fine food expertly prepared and served, a good wine list and very friendly. We dined with them over the years and have always had exceptional experiences. Bravo!

Delighted that this restaurant is again open. One of the best, if not the best, in Sarasota.
