We recently stayed for one night and dined at the Michelin-starred Gourmet Restaurant. While we appreciated the well-furnished room, its size, cleanliness, and the quality of breakfast, our experience at the restaurant left us a bit underwhelmed. We acknowledge the challenges faced by top-tier culinary establishments in terms of personnel and ingredient costs. Our disappointment primarily revolved around the 4-course menu with an additional cheese and wine accompaniment. The starters and main courses were commendable, but we felt the absence of a sommelier to guide us through the wine selection. The quality that the Rüssel family and their team have been offering for many years is unparalleled in the catering industry. Despite all the crises that otherwise affect the hospitality industry, and even though it is a non sponsored family business, they not only manage to pamper their guests at the highest level and always stay on top of the times, no, it is : Guests feel at home in no time. I was at a “summer festival” there and things started sorting in the parking lot. The more expensive cars were allowed to park in front of the house, the other inferior ones were allowed to park opposite on the lawn. G Class in front of us in front of the house, we in the Fiesta on the meadow and the S Class behind us of course also in front of the house. This is exactly how it runs through the entire establishment. Criticism cannot be dealt with either, as you can see here with all the other negative comments. All in all it seems more than it is... It's a shame, otherwise it's a nice location.
Little attended..... although a beautiful country house... Experienced kitchen a bit irritating.... see below.... Food drinks: Although different dishes were served (leg of lamb... very tender and veal... small but delicious), the side dishes (pasta with mushrooms) were identical and somewhat carelessly served on the unfortunately cold plates. Anlässlich eines Familienfestes das erste mal hier. Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen, will ich aber nachholen. Vom Gebäude her ein Kleinod, idyllisch gelegen mitten der Natur. Speisen hervorragend, sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Exzellenter, sehr aufmerksamer Service und hervorragende Gastgeber. Ich komme gerne wieder! Service: 5
