Market Street Cafe

Went around 5 PM and was seated quickly however, food took longer than expected with only a few people in the restaurant. Had the mahi fish tacos and they were freezer burnt. My wife had the turkey BLT with sweet potato fries, and the fries were soggy and undercooked. The BLT bread was barely toasted and really the entire sandwich was lacking any flavor. Son had a cheeseburger said it was good. I’ve lived here for five years, had never been. Unfortunately we will not return. I will never go back to this place after what they did to us yesterday, on my dads birthday at that! We were ignored once we were seated for a good 10 mins before we even got asked for our drink orders. The waitress said that there was a mixup with the hostess. Umm I don’t think so. Everyone else has their drinks but us. People that had come in way after us. We didn’t get our food until about 45 mins after we had been seated! We were starving by then! The people behind us that had come after us was already paying for their food (family of 3) by the time we go our food! Unacceptable! And we didn’t get no money taken off our bill after I told the waitress and the hostess that I was upset about...

We ate at Market Street Cafe three times during our visit in Tomball. The food was amazing, service was awesome and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! The owners, Mary Ellen and Forrest, are super friendly and very engaging with their customers. We had a friendly wait staff each time and their service was impeccable! I highly recommend the pot roast, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The shrimp and pulled pork tacos are amazing and the shrimp rolls as an appetizer were a huge hit! This will absolutely be our go-to restaurant on our next visit!

Fantastic family owned business with super customer service! The food is really, really good (loved the meatloaf one evening and the shrimp tacos the second evening). Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

Market Steet Cafe has got wonderful food!!!??? A special shout out to Ian. He is the best, very attentive and wants to please. Will definetmy be coming back.
