I was selected here for a family meal, so a meal in advance and the restaurant informed, asking if they could make a vegan version of my old zugericht (dahl makhani). at the arrival, not only had they made me this dish, but they informed me that they recently introduced a fully vegan menu that had a great choice of vegans to start, netzen and side. they also now have vegan chocolate cake and ice as dessert option. everything I had was excellent; especially the soy-chema and carrot and beetroot cuts. Easily the best in Nottingham we’ve been around 8 times now, as groups of 2 10 and the food has been just as good despite the larger tables to service. Also just as good mid week or a busy Saturday. Depth of flavour and presentation are superb. Interior great as often you compromise on interior for a more authentic Indian flavour. Yes, a bit more expensive than your average, but a) we’ve wasted much more money on less and b) it’s still the same price as a good quality pub meal. Booked this evening to introduce another friend!

the menu is fantastic. quantities of vegetarian and vegan options. we have tried to find a good Indian since we become vegan and now we have found it! the service was brilliant and they put a note on our order regarding our veganism without demand. can not recommend this place enough for with vegan in nottingham

beautiful interior design, but bad overpriced eating. slow service and bathroom in the upper floor without sufficient lighting. the food is well presented, but there was no gracious that the sweet was frozen as they were watery. we look forward to opening the tipu sultan soon near.

I loved eating at mj. the vegan options were delicious and interesting (not their standard Indian restaurant options), and there were enough of them.
