Once again I find myself kicking myself as I said the last time (last week) and the week before that I wouldn’t go back but here I am writing a review due to extremely poor service at McDonalds. Today I ordered 3 breakfast rolls, I ended up with 4 with only one of the breakfast rolls being what I asked for. Unfortunately for me I went via the Drive Thru so I only noticed once I got home. The previous week I ordered 3 breakfast rolls and only got 2 and the week before that I again ordered 3 breakfast rolls and got 3 but not what I had ordered. I can’t believe that 3 weeks running I have had problems with wrong orders with also missing or additional items. It’s either no attention to detail or...
It seems very busy but it is a tiny spot with a small car park and tight drive thru. I walked in as I was staying in the hotel next door. I ordered using the machines as no one was at the tills (which is normal nowadays). The machines said no table service available but there were plenty of tables free albeit not cleaned. The machine didn't print a receipt so when I saw someone receiving their order I quickly asked the staff member for a copy of my receipt. Big mistake.... however I needed one as I was using the company card. I wanted 15minutes before someone could work out how to print me a receipt. I've never experienced anything like it. The tables were messy and dirty, with tomato sauce covering the utensils area. The staff seemed more interested in goofing off than doing their job properly. The toilets were lacking in essentials like toilet paper and soap, and the floors were wet. Even when ordering for delivery, the staff would call out the number and leave the food on a table, forcing the driver to navigate through their conversations to pick up the order. It would be helpful if they simply called the number and waited a few seconds to see if someone would come. Overall, while McDonald's may generally have issues with delivery couriers, this particular restaurant was especially disorganized and unhelpful.
