Mercado Merced - Réservation de table

I was really looking forward to a bustling tapa market like in Madrid or Barcelona. But when I arrived at 10:00pm on a Friday night it was empty, already closed. Seems odd that for a country that thrives on eating late and every tapa around the area packed and busy to close so early is very odd.

Considering the popularity of the Atarazanas market hall this one by the busy Plaza Merced and Picasso's birth home is a dissappointment. A few shops try to survive with half empty restaurants but somehow this newly renovated place doesn't seem to attract customers.

El personal hablaba francés tan perfecto. Por lo demás, los tacos estaban muy buenos, y este lo sirvieron a las 3 am, que es muy tarde, incluso en Francia todo cierra más temprano. Es agradable.
