1st time in 16 years and nothing has changed, and that is in order. it is definitiw a repulsive atmosphere with all the neon biermarks glittering from the shiny, dark wood and decor. all staff are friendly and friendly for everyone. the prices are definitely reasonable and could actually be the same as 16 years ago? This is a great bar and restaurant. I?ve been coming here since I was a kid. The staff is super friendly and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. The schooners here are a must! Ice cold beer poured straight from the tap, and into a frozen schooner is like a gift from heaven! Lol. My wife is also a huge fan of the their sangria. Various items from the menu are delicious. The bean and cheese nachos and onion rings as appetizers are tasty. The fried chicken and crispy dogs are also great to eat. My favorite plates are the fisherman?s platter and chicken fried steak. I?ll definitely keep on coming back. A San Antonio staple for sure!
