On June 6th, 2023, at 3:45 PM, I visited this restaurant and ordered my usual: a small garden pita with extra cheese. I noticed that while this order costs $9.90 in Simcoe, it was $11.28 here. When I brought this price difference to the employee's attention, she responded rudely and continued to exhibit that attitude throughout the transaction. After placing the vegetables on the grill, I saw her lean over and whisper to a colleague, which made me feel uneasy, as I suspected they were talking about me. Given the poor customer service, I have no intention of returning to this location. Additionally, the pita I received was inedible—please see the attached photo.
It always seems to be these same two employees with this attitude. If I hadn’t been in a hurry to return to work, I would have had more to say. The worst offender is the one with the bull ring in her nose. You really need to do better! Your attitude is not setting a good example, and the other staff member seems to feed off of that negativity. Do you think customers don’t notice everything you do while handling their food? Your behavior today was completely unacceptable on so many levels, and it would be wise to work on that in the future. Also, please remember that my money contributes to your wages—don’t ever lose sight of that.
It was a bit warm, so we couldn’t sit down to eat, but the staff was fantastic. We visited yesterday around 7:30 PM (August 19th), and the poor person making my pita accidentally tore it twice. She kept apologizing, but these things can happen. She has served us many times before with no issues. Despite the mishaps, she was truly wonderful! The owner should definitely reward her! Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but she should be easy to recognize—she was the only one wearing braces, haha!
Gluten-free pitas are stored separately under the counter from the regular ones. My pita was prepared on a paper (usually others are prepared on the counter) and the worker changed gloves without me having to ask. She was knowledgeable about my allergy. Additionally, they offer salads as an option. However, they use a shared cooking area so if you have celiac disease, it is recommended to order deli turkey instead of the heated steak or chicken that is cooked on the grill. This restaurant has an excellent lunch menu featuring a diverse range of options made with fresh ingredients. The place is very clean, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Although it might be a little more expensive, they frequently offer plenty of coupons for discounts.
One of my friends accidentally left her phone in the restaurant, and Carter kindly came out to the car to return it. It was heartwarming to see such a cheerful employee in action. Thank you, Carter! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for healthy options.
The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and exceptionally friendly. During my recent visits, I’ve been enjoying the chicken Caesar salad. It's fresh, filled with generous strips of freshly cooked bacon, and has plenty of chicken. It’s both flavorful and satisfying! Réservez une table maintenant
