since my previous pizza experience was less than stellar, this pizza gap was not yet filled. I still had a mushroom-shaped hole in my heart. the pizza man filled it. pizza man is located in a quite new room, although it is a meilenstein in milwaukee. In 2010 the restaurant burned to the floor. three years later a new building was found, and they still build the same feeling of the atmosphere they had once. I personally think they have it. we ordered the zak antipasto salad, the salami, aged cheese, fresh and picked vegetables, greens, house vinaiigrette and garlic bread. UP IN SMOKE MEPHISTOPHELES WINS As I grow older, memories become vivid, and what was once just a past remembrance, becomes washed by nostalgia. The Pizza Man I recall was a dark, 1970s style dive, with decor that needed renovation the day after it opened. The pizza was okay, but the wine list might have been the best in Milwaukee. My husband and I heard about their half-price special on bottles of wine on Monday nights, so we decided to go in and try the place. Lots of wine!! Wowza! Delicious pizza, too. I'll be back!
