After a few wonderful hours walking around the gardens, we decided to eat here before we catch our ferry. Our waiter set us up and we quickly picked up from the menu. 20 minutes later we had not been seen yet, so we decided to have only ice since we were now in danger of missing our boat trip home. 5 more minutes past and finally my husband got up to go and find someone to take our order. The waiters were over, but we seemed invisible! We quickly ate our food and then drink another long wait before someone would take our money! Wouldn't return. A disappointing end of a beautiful day.
We arrived by own boat after all the day tourists left and it was during the week, so there were not many people (good! . We had a really nice table for two with a nice view and nobody near us. The food was good (no star cuisine though and at a normal price for Switzerland (if you don 't know what this means and you are cost conscious check the prices first! . The combination of the island atmosphere, with the botanical gardens and the good food makes this an overall good place to visit.
Very nice location, especially if the weather is good. Food is also expensive a little expensive. They have a wide range of food and drinks. Service was very fast and friendly. Besides, this is the only restaurant on the island if you are not willing to pay a bit for the view and food better bring your own proviant. Nevertheless, I will still pay this place for people.
Ein paar vorzügliche vegetarische Menus krönen die kreative Karte. Ausgezeichnete Küche. Wir würden sofort wieder hingehen. Selbst der Eintritt für die Insel (6-8 CHF) ist es wert, auch wenn man nur das Restaurant besuchen würde (mangels Zeit). V.a. bei sonnigem Wetter auf der Terrasse, aber auch die Innenräume des Palastes sind ein Gedicht. Réservez une table maintenant
wir genossen die Kies-Terrasse neben dem Kräutergarten mit Sonnenschirmen und guter Bestuhlung. Super Aussicht,top Atmosphäre und gute Qualität, Preis auch in Ordnung.Machen Sie einen kleinen Rundgang ins Innere! Toilette im 2.OG benutzen und mal einen Blick in die umliegenden herrschaftlichen Räume werfen...
Das Essen war gut aber mehr auch nicht. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet da historisch. Personal hat die Bestellung nicht so recht verstanden und bekamen dann das falsche aber war gut. Zu viele schreiende Kinder rundherum sorgten nicht für erholsame Mittagspause.
