Rollian - Réservation de table

We saw another place on Bayview go under recently - Vero Trattoria. Bailiff's notice on the door for sizable arrears. Unfortunate when that happens in your neighbourhood. We were at Vero last in 2015 and it was quite good. Perhaps we need to tell more people when we find something good so it stays around? Brings me to Rollian. It's good. It should stay. You should go there.Family dinner this time. A fair warm sake, an awesome avocado salad for the birthday girl, miso soups for some, seaweed salad wrapped in cucumber for me - no bowl (nice presentation there!), and excellent short ribs and edamame to share. All things salmon for one guy including a brimming hand roll, and he was pretty please...

Just finished dinner here with family. My wife is Japanese so we are very picky about sushi restaurants. We all gave Rollian a big thumbs up and plan to eat here again. We had appetizers, ala carte sushi, and sushi rolls. The sushi rolls are particularly outstanding, from simple hand rolls up to their specialty, the Dynamite rolls. The Dynamite rolls are large, so be careful you don't over-order. Only small negative was their limited beer selection.

I had the chicken teriyaki Bento box lunch, my son had the Zen salmon lunch. At $10.95 my lunch was a real bargain. Miso soup, two dumplings, three California rolls, a bowl of rice and a very tasty salad accompanied the tender chicken. This was a much better meal than one I had in a Japanese restaurant near Yonge and Wellesley a couple of weeks ago. Strongly recommended!

Tucked in a little strip mall at Bayview and Eglinton, thedecor of this Zagat rated restaurant is bright, clean and inviting. A real treat. The food was wonderfully presented and on par with the flavour. Dont be in a hurry as the sevice is a bit slow but the preparation that goes into each dish makes it worth the wait. We were here with friends who had never been to Rollian, and who were very agreeably surprised. For my wife and me it was the first time we had dinner here. All four of us had the Rollian dinner, which consists mostly of sushi and sashimi, together with miso soup and a salad. A very good meal! Recommended!

This place seems to be always empty, with the exception of one or two couples. The food is always fresh, the service is great and the presentation is top drawer. I wish more knew about it because I would hate to see them close.

Got there a little early around 1130 it got busy by 12 nice big area great menu selection. Beautiful presentation and clean. Very friendly environment perfect for a business meeting or just nice lunch.

Everything blew my expectations away, fresh, delicious, fast and beautiful presentation. Service was spot on, a younger fellow did amazing. Drinks, food and service will bring me back again and again. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent food and atmosphere. On the pricy side but the food was great so it was worth it. Service was above average.

Great sushi. And I know sushi. Try the spicy tuna rolls, or the sashimi. All great. Highly recommend.
