Rooney's Food And Spirits

Excellent atmosphere. I went with a small group at 9:30 on a Sunday. There were a few groups at the bar ringing. At 10:30, both pool tables were busy and the dart boards were in use. Just the right number of people. The kitchen closes at 9:30 a.m., after which it's just fried things. The chicken pliers were large and came with a MOUNTAIN of perpetrators. The wings my friends got were enormous, like normal chicken wing size. The bar delicate (also waiters for the tables) was super friendly and very knowledgeable. My only complaint was that the music was a little louder and louder than the night went on. Overall great experience, everything a bar should be.

Absolutely amazing, awesome portions and best burger I’ve ever had, the ingredients were fresh and fries were to die for. Service was quick and attentive! Great whiskey selection! (Not many places carry Pendleton 1910!!! Music was great, really exceptional place and I will be back for sure. Wasn’t sure on a beer towards the end of the night and said “gimme something light”, grabbed me something off the tap and it was the perfect ending to a great experience! Thank you Rooney’s!

I'm here several times to give you an indication of how I like the place. They serve a hackbread sandwich that is brilliant and a mountain of French fries or perpetrators to round it off. You have a good selection of beers including porters and stouts as well. To complete it, the service is attentive and friendly. So why only four stars? It's a sports bar. Just a little exaggerated from darkness and TV screens. But it is a small price to pay for good food and service.

Great place to hang around with friends. Pool tables, giant Jenga and karaoke. Great choice at the bar. Cosy chairs of a gas fireplace. Screens for sports or music videos. It didn't try anything from the food. Absolutely come back!

Sporty, good crowd! Had some glasses of red wine, didn't try to eat, maybe next time. Thank you for your stay until 9am on 4. Juli!
