Rudy 's Country Store And -b-q

Went here on a recommendation from a family member. The pulled pork was very wet, off color, and did not taste right. I would liken it to dog food. The brisket was very very dry. The jalapeño sausage was pretty good. There were also standing puddles of water in the restroom. Gross. Would not recommend.

I must say, the moist brisket at this place is truly exceptional. It stands out as the best brisket I've had so far. Having ordered from this location multiple times, I can confidently say they have consistently delivered outstanding results. I highly recommend giving it a try.Food: 5/5

First time visiting Texas with family, we decided to stop by Rudy’s to get BBQ to go to eat at the hotel. The brisket was the worst I’ve ever had, it was tough and felt undercooked. I’ve had better brisket from a truck stop in Minnesota. The beans and baby back ribs however were great.

If you want no frills BBQ at a reasonable price, this is the place. The beans and cole slaw sides are very good.
