The Beach - Réservation de table

Came to stay with my girlfriend on the Californie campsite for a few days and was told about the Beach bar that overlooks the sea. Well, the view was absolutely wonderful, sat right on the rocks overlooking the Mediterranean with a full 180 degree view of the sea. We spent two afternoons there having drinks and listening to the reggae music play out and just watching the horizon. The food also matches the view: just brilliant. If I'm honest we weren't expecting food quite like we got. It looked and tasted like it should have come from a high-end restaurant in London and the portions were huge. Très déçu de notre repas d'hier soir. Il y avait des huîtres grillées en entrée, ce qui était correct mais le repas principal composé de poisson était un désastre. Nous avons eu un bar et une daurade. Au début du repas, nous avons découvert que le bar n'était que partiellement cuit. Cela a été enlevé et ma femme a dû manger son poisson pendant que le mien était cuit. Finalement, je suis revenu cuit, mais pas avant que ma femme ait presque fini son repas. Le poisson était bon une fois cuit. Prix ​​avantageux dont 7,5 € pour deux cafés. La facture totale s'élevait à 81 € pour 2 plats avec vin maison et même pas d'excuses. We found this place quite by chance and realised we had found a gem. The location is beautiful, right on the rock overlooking the Med with a string of tables right on the edge. They pride themselves on great quality local, fresh ingredients and have a great choice of fresh fish. They even let you see it before its cooked , to allow last minute changes of heart. The only caution I would share is beware the size of the portions - they're massive. Thank you Rachel and Gabbie. The 3 men in strange shirts!

This little restaurant couldn't be nearer to the sea! Best fish ever, it was so fresh. Simply cooked, huge portion, served with beautiful salad, vegetables and chips. A little expensive at 22 Euros but, when you consider the size of the meal and the situation of the restaurant, not so bad. Other options as well as fish. Restaurant within Camping Californie complex but can be accessed from a car park to the west of the complex and a short walk by footpath. Réservez une table maintenant

Nous avons déjeuné ici aujourd'hui. J'ai pris un steak de thon et ma femme a pris de la daurade. Les deux étaient très bien cuisinés. Le chef sait ce qu'il fait. Les portions sont énormes. Que puis-je dire ? Le service était excellent. Ambiance superbe ! Être à côté de la Méditerranée est le cadre idéal. Le prix est raisonnable aussi.

Best restaurant in the area, hidden away behind the campsite and situated on the med. excellent food and drinks menu, fresh fish and only the best meat served.Good for day and night but would recommend reserving a table of an evening for a group especially in high season.Compliments to Rachel and Gabbie!

...much less secret these days. Well worth a visit, but book up as it gets busy. The staff are always friendly and the food always good. Kids love the ice creams in the bird bowls!
