The Black Horse Inn

We discovered this gem of a pub last year while looking for a place in Lewes to watch the West Ham game. We loved it so much that nine months later, we decided to move to Lewes, just a three-minute walk from The Black Horse! The pub offers a frequently changing selection of fantastic real ales, including my personal favorite, the delicious Burning Sky Plateau. In addition to great drinks, the pub serves excellent pub food and features two inviting open fires with friendly staff to match. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

There were seven of us, and we made a reservation for 1 PM on Sunday. Every beer I tried was excellent, as always, and we all ordered the roast. Our meals arrived in a timely manner, and my pork was one of the best I've ever had. The only complaint was that there were too many potatoes, but I managed to eat all of mine!

I was just there and I loved it so much! it feels like a community lounge and the music was so beautiful! there were children and even a dog. the food was excellent! the french wobbles soup was really spiced and the roast (porkglocken) was probably the best I had. I will go back to the final!

We enjoyed an incredibly delicious roast, along with juicy beef and pork! Plus, for each fully paying adult, they offer a free child's meal. This has been one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. I highly recommend it!
