The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. I have given them two chances, but both times the staff seemed indifferent. During my last visit, all 10 staff members were focused on preparing a large catering order, neglecting the customers in the restaurant. One customer and I waited over 10 minutes just to place our orders, and then had to wait another 10 minutes for our simple dishes. There was also confusion about the pricing, as items were not labeled clearly for customers to understand easily. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.
The Carving Board is consistently delicious with a wide variety of food options and extremely friendly staff. The only downside is that it tends to be very busy during lunch hours, but that just goes to show how great the food is! I have dined in and gotten takeout from here, and both experiences were delicious. They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions, like my gluten intolerance, ensuring no cross-contamination. The service, food, and atmosphere all receive top ratings. Recommended dishes include the Turkey Sandwich, Chicken Salad, and 3 Salad Plate. Price per person ranges from $10 to $20.
I had high expectations for this large deli, so it was a bit disappointing when it didn't completely blow me away. The food was good, but not exceptional. The salads were my favorite, they were very fresh and tasty. The restaurant was also very clean. It's not a budget-friendly option, even though you order at the counter. Our lunch for three people, with two sandwiches, a salad plate, and three teas, came to $49.22 before tip. I would go back if a friend wanted to, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
