The Chestergate Bistro

What a fantastic find. This restaurant was excellent, so good in fact that we returned the following evening. The Fillet steak was probably the best steak I have ever eaten, simply perfect, as was everything else. Great wine too. The staff were very polite, helpful and charming. Thank you all. We will definitely be recommending you.

An outstanding dining experience. The service was not only excellent, but the food was also delicious. We were treated to a complimentary wine glass, palette cleansers, and sample dishes. The king prawn starter, duck leg main, and sticky toffee dessert stood out as some of the best on an already exquisite menu. 5/5

Delightful dining experience, our 1st visit from France, the Fillet steak is tender delicious. Pleasant, attentive, friendly professional service. Good ambient atmosphere. Merci et Bravo Give it a try, we're glad we did.

Good menu without too many choices, well cooked and served up by nice friendly staff. Reasonably priced for a nice night out. Warm and cosy environment for couples or groups.
