For a countryside pub B&B, this place might be the best you can find. Looking to escape the usual stresses of London, we were delighted to discover The Crown Inn, tucked away in beautiful countryside and situated in a charming hamlet. It remains conveniently close to must-see destinations like Tenterden, Rye, and Sissinghurst. Owner and chef Nikki Conrath greeted us warmly and took us to our room. It was clear that a great deal of care and thought had gone into the restoration and fresh decor of the Inn, especially the super comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, and luxurious linens, all contributing to a cozy yet unpretentious atmosphere. I had a wonderful birthday dinner last night at The Crown Inn. It was our first visit, and we were really impressed not just by the quality of the food, but also by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who clearly loved the dishes they were serving. A nice touch was the chef coming out to talk with guests; it was great to see someone so passionate about ensuring that diners enjoy their meals. We will definitely be returning! :)

We loved ataying at The Crown. Everything was perfect; from the giant, cozy bed, to the yummy breakfasts, to the exceptional dinners. The Crown is a treasure!
