This is our go-to pub in the area, and we make sure to visit at least once a week. The meals we have had since the new owners took over have all been fantastic; from perfectly cooked steaks, to salads, to burgers and other delicious options. They also make the best cake. The owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming. The special menu changes regularly, and they offer deals like steak night and lunch specials.

We decided to give the Maypole another try when we heard it was under new management, and we're glad we did! The food was hot, cooked perfectly, and there was so much of it. The menu had a lot of choices, but we settled on the 10oz gammon with all the extras - it came with bacon and cheese, and the slow-roasted pork belly. Everything was delicious and affordable. It's definitely an experience we would repeat!

The food was cooked perfectly and the staff were extremely helpful. The portion sizes were generous and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was not impressed with the Christmas dinner I had last Friday, December 12th. It was very disappointing.
