The North has been our go-to restaurant since it opened on the corner of Dunlop. Now located just up the street in a modern updated space, it has exceeded our expectations. To celebrate our 16th anniversary, my wife and I decided to dine there tonight. After realizing that my wife's favorite dish, Beef Wellington, was not on the menu, I reached out to Marco via email. Despite being off and at his cottage, Marco went above and beyond to ensure that the dish was prepared for her. It was delicious, as always. We went Sunday night, the food was out of this world, we had the Chef's tasting, and can honestly say that we could not pick a favorite thing because everything was sooooooo yummy! The seafood that was served was perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection, the lamb was tender and tasty, the duck succulent! We had gone to celebrate a special event in our lives and the ambiance was romantic and the music a nice addition, the perfect evening. Everything that we had hoped for, and more. The staff was attentive and friendly A Great experience and will definitely make this a go to place!

My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary at this restaurant. The service and food were amazing! What made the experience even better was that our 2-month-old baby slept through the entire meal, allowing us to enjoy it in peace. We ordered the beef wellington and the duck. Both dishes were fantastic, but I would highly recommend the duck!

Claire and I ate here for the first time in August. The service was outstanding from the time we walked in the door. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and meals very much. Our waitress even gave us a complementary dessert sampler platter. We'll definitely go back! pastthepotholes

Went for Barrielicious and had the 6 plate with wine pairing. This was the best meal I've had since my stay in Europe. Just incredible food and service. Comfy arm chairs to sit in, nice decor.
