Wow, this place is a little gem in Weymouth. Its a little hard to find, as it is off of the main roads. NB: Cash only!! So my husband likes to smoke brisket, ribs, etc on the weekends, and we love making pulled pork in the crockpot. However, we don't usually do all three at once, so when we went to check out Red Rose, we were super-excited to see a combo plate with all three, plus fries and coleslaw for under $20. It was enough for us both. The food was amazing. The pulled pork was really the stand-out for me, but I love it so I might be biased. Cool Pub with Bah Pizza Red Rose is a legendary spot in Springfield for a reason. 50+ years. This place looks like an old school Italian place so I had my expectations up high and it did not disappoint. The bread was fantastic and the salad and salad dressing was delicious. I also had the chicken parm sandwich and it was a huge portion and very tasty. The key to food is consistency. All these years its been done least 98 percent. That very good. No one gets it 100 percent. But Red Rose is the best of the best hands down. Tip: You have to understand the pizza sizes. My boyfriend and I absolutely love the Red Rose! The staff, especially Jared, is wonderful and personable! It has a cozy and warm ambiance, and we always find a seat at the bar. I've come here countless times and always have an amazing time! Best bar in Weymouth!!!!
